Extension Activities

The College has Extension activity unit. Two teachers from U.G. and two teachers from P.G. supervise the extension activities of the Students. These activities include community development, Social Works, health and hygiene awareness, Medical Camps, Adult Education, Literacy and Blood donation camps, AIDS awareness, Environmental awareness, Clean and Green programmes are undertaken.

  • The voluntary organizations like Rotary Club, Lionsy Club, L.I.C. of India, Labour Welfare committee conduct all types of competitions and also medical camps in our premises.
  • Rotaract Club of DRW College is installed and it won prestigious Best President, Best Secretary and Best Club awards for the year 2025-26.
  • Our students participate in all these competitions and serve as volunteers in all medical camps. The services of the students are being appreciated very much by all these organizations.
  • The Red Cross society conducts blood donation camps once in every year and students donate blood.
  • Scriptural classes are being conducted to inculcate moral values among the students. Eminent personalities from different religions will deliver lectures.

    Hostel

    The attached Hostel in the campus provided all the facilities in a most conductive atmosphere with hygienic tasty food. The Deputy Warden Dr. P. Gayathri with the help of the resident tutors and the hostel committee maintains the hostel very well. Study hours are maintained under the supervision of the tutors. The senior students share the work under “Earn while you Learn” scheme.
